WE PREFER YOU TO REGISTER FOR SYSTMONLINE TO REQUEST PRESCRIPTIONS
You can do this by asking one of our reception team. Please be willing to show us some ID (for your online security) before we register you. Using this system will show you a list of all the medicines you are allowed to request - it is much simpler for you than all the other options, once you are up and running.
You should phone the surgery (week days only) to order any repeat prescriptions at least 48 hours before you need to collect. It is important to only say the names of the medication you need and not just ask for a repeat of all your prescriptions. We have a dedicated prescription line - 216 4924
We can now send prescriptions for MOST medicines directly to the pharmacy - electronically. A green piece of paper is often not required - but you need to choose which pharmacy you would like to receive your prescription and let us know. For those who prefer paper, or who are taking medicines such as controlled drugs, then the prescription will be ready for collection after 48 hours. Someone else can collect it for you if they are over 16 and show your repeat prescription slip. Prescriptions can also be posted out if you provide us with a stamped addressed envelope.
Some chemists/pharmacists provide a prescription collection and delivery service for those who cannot get out of their homes. Speak to your local pharmacist for more details.
