Patient Participation Group

The Aims of the Patient Participation Group

We are very aware that taking the "patient-eye" view of practice life is very useful.  We have valued the information we have gleaned over the years from all the patient surveys we have done.  We decided to take this a step further and launch a patient - participation group.

We aim to have a core membership of about 12 people who will be willing to come to meetings approximately 4 - 6 times per year.  We would also like a wider group of people who are willing to let us contact them by email to get feedback.  We are interested in your views on things like:

  • What works well in the practice?
  • Where we could do better?
  • What services do we not currently offer but may be useful?
  • How could we improve the nuts and bolts – such as the waiting room?
  • What are we like at communicating with patients?

People come and go from the group, so if you would like to know more about taking part - please send us an email or ring the surgery and ask to speak to the practice manager.

Getting Your View

The group would like to contact patients on occasion by email and/or text so that they can obtain the views of the widest group of patients possible. We would like to obtain your email address and mobile phone number to do this. Please complete the Patient Contact Form to provide your consent for this.
